I've always been a cat person, as most dogs seem too hyper, or too high maintenance, yet in the case of S. whom I'm looking after for a few days we seem to get along, maybe because she's 14 years old, and pretty mellow, so mellow that she's been dozing most of the day.
The last time I watched her I took her on a four hour walk. Granted, there were a lot of stops, and benches, but it must have felt like a death march on her old bones.
Today I didn't make that mistake again. There was a much shorter walk, and now she's sleeping again after eating a few bits of turkey bacon.
If she used the litter box I think she'd be perfect.
Dogs shit outside because they're intelligent enough to be trained.
ReplyDeleteCats are intelligent enough to use litter boxes, though. Some cats are really intelligent, and cover their output in the box to hide their scent. My cat is not one of those smart cats.
